Date Night

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman
Top: Darimeya at Topshop. Skirt: Tory Burch. Clutch: Primark. Heels: Topshop Unique

Sadly,  it’s not often my husband and I do ‘date night’ anymore – everything has just gotten in the way. But last week was an exception – our 2 year anniversary.

I decided to ‘dress up’ with a red lip (Laura Mercier ‘red brick’) and a new frill sleeve top I found in the downstairs designer section of Topshop Oxford Circus. I saw a girl recently in a blue and white stripe version (which had sold out) and it made me think twice about browsing that section – it was £60 but worth it for the ‘wow’ factor.

Apologies, as this outfit is almost impossible to get hold of (but aren’t all the best things?). Sometimes it’s hard keeping so current – the skirt is an old Tory Burch on from when I worked on a magazine – it was an old sample and I remember thinking ‘will I actually wear it’? Not often, but it makes me feel fabulous. The heels went into the sale and promptly sold out online – but I did see a few in the sale instore when I went in the other day. And the bag? Primark…as seen in the previous post – I love it and it will be one of the few bags I take on holiday.

Clutch: Primark. Bracelets: Astley Clarke (sold out from my secret sale, buy similar here) and Lucy Williams x Missoma

And where did we go for our date? A sushi place, of course – So Restaurant on Warwick Street – we actually went for a sushi class back in january and the food looked (and tasted) so good we decided to go back. We sat at the bar, as we love to watch it being made and reminded us of being back in Tokyo – one day we’ll go back!
