For a blogger, I don’t actually have much of a makeup repertoire. And it took me a long time to accept that, in fact, there’s nothing wrong with that.
I stick to what I know, what I’m comfortable with, and like to feel like myself. I basically have two looks: a bright lip or glowy and tanned.
And there’s nothing I love more than a red lip.

It’s funny, I only started doing a red lip about 5 years ago, but since then, it has almost become my signature. I love how it can transform a simple look to something with a bit more punch in minutes. And now, with Peggy, I rely more and more on makeup that can help lift my look quickly and easily – and for £2.49, this ‘Crimson’ lipstick is it (no one notices those dark bags once your lips are the main attraction).

And moving onto my more everyday look.
This is basically the makeup I wear most days (albeit with a bit of extra bronzer on holiday) – primer to keep everything staying put and for extra ‘glow’, a good foundation that will stay all day (even in humidity), eyeliner and blusher. My whole routine takes about 15 minutes to do and helps me feel camera ready in a flash, all held together with some translucent powder (to help with sheen).

For me, the hero product of my holiday was the highlighter stick. It glides on so easily and can be as layered or as sheer as you like – I rub it along my cheekbones and love the glisten it creates – perfect for those balmy evenings over your moisturiser.

And the best bit? All the makeup is under £3. Yep, you read that right. And tried and tested over a month of my holiday, I’m definitely a convert.

The red lipstick suits you perfectly! Love all the chic looks you wore!

Do you find that the red lipstick bleeds tho? Or “eats” off weirdly? Or comes off on Chris?
I love the look but fear it would end up smeared all over my face so don’t attempt it often!!
Love these looks!! So perfect for summer

Your smile, with or without the red lipstick, lights up your face! I do like the red lip though – I always feel a bit too done up with a red lip, but it’s just so natural on you, I must try harder!
Hmmm does it really stay on though? Is it as good as some of the more expensive brands- although brand and packaging have a lot to do with the price I’m a bit hesitant about getting really cheap makeup as for me it’s not about how it looks on first application it’s about the quality, the pigments and the staying power especially on holiday when it’s hot and humid
So with red lipstick I find it does come off when you kiss etc but i always blot it quite well – or for everyday, I often just ‘dab’ the lipstick and rub it in rather than a full on red lip, so I get a hint of colour but doesn’t transfer x
I honestly found this stood up next to more expensive brands, it really lasted – and I’ve tried a lot! x
I love your red lip color, looking very fresh young! Where can I buy it?
Using red lip stick you look beautiful. I like this red lip stick. Smart women use this lipstick to make her beautify like you.
