Design: Cos x Hay

Life - By Alexandra Stedman
Trays: £25 for large,  £10 for extra small, £19 for small, Cos x Hay. Headphones: Frends (bought at TK Maxx). Earrings: £12, Z for Accessorize (instore). Rose gold earcuff: £38, Tada & Toy. Notecards: Paperchase. Nail polish in ‘Plankton’: £5, Topshop. Pen: £13.56, Caran D’Ache. Tweezers: Tweezerman. Lip balm: £16, Bobbi Brown

Aaah storage. Such stuff as dreams are made on.

I’ve loved Hay design ever since Gwyneth mentioned it a few years ago on Goop – the geometric trays that look great on their own but twice as good all nestled into each other with their co-ordinating colours…they can make even the most cluttered side table complete.

Hay furniture

The Danish design brand has always had a close affinity to Swedish fashion store, Cos (the stores have always hosted Hay furniture – which is why they are always so chic). So it’s a match made in Scandi heaven that they have joined forces to create two tables to be sold exclusively in Cos stores. And alongside this, they are stocking a collection of exclusively curated Hay products – to be sold online and in the High Street Kensington store.

The Cos x Hay collaboration table, £175
So for me, on my budget – the accessibility point is the trays. Starting from £10, you can buy in stages (and they’re a great gift, especially for those collecting them). These ones with their pop of colour are going to give our living room that little ‘lift’ of colour it needs.

Trays: £25 for large,  £10 for extra small, £19 for small, Cos x Hay. Headphones: Frends (bought at TK Maxx). Earrings: £12, Z for Accessorize (instore). Rings: Pandora, Laura Lee and Carolina Bucci
One day, my house will be filled with Hay furniture – minty wool sofas with soft grey cushions and pink highlights. But until then, I’ll be filling up these Hay trays with a smug sense of arrangement.

I love hay, cos, and these trays! Especially love that the colab features these as they are less expensive than the normal hay trays. The colors online aren't as nice as yours. Did you get yours in a Loondon store? If so, which one? x

We have a Hay store here in Bath – it's so beautiful I tend to treat it like an art gallery rather than a shop! If I had an endless budget it would be different… the trays are cute though 🙂
