Sunglasses: Valentino. Top: H+M. Skirt: £38, Next. Sandals: reduced to £49, Kurt Geiger |
So midis are here to stay. And so is leather. When I saw this skirt at the press day, I couldn’t actually believe they were selling leather for under £40. I found out it was faux and I was even more astonished: it looks and feels perfect.

Too hot to wear now? Just add sliders until it’s cold enough to pair with heeled boots. My KG ones are in the sale for £49 (someone asked me if they were Prada last week):

This would make the perfect workwear skirt, too – just pair with a Boden cashmere or a Gap crisp shirt:

Thank you so much 😉 x
Fabulous find, the skirt hangs beautifully loving the idea of it in the winter with high boots (would look so gorgeously 70s) it looks great on you x think I may need one in my life x
It does not feel like faux leather at all, and hangs really well (not clingy – the dream)
You look gorgeous! The skirt is fab and I have wanted those sandals since they first came out and I tried them on instore but I have bought way too many shoes this summer – gutted!
Weirdly, i bought them a while back but they weren't my favourite pair but they are quickly becoming my go-tos!
Lovely I wish I had known about this! I just bought a leather one off Asos but at least it was in the sale!
And Asos is always a good price, too 😉
Such a great price and I love the shape – a leather skirt is high on my list for A/W
Abbi x
It's such a good buy (and price!) x
Just discovered your blog – love it! a great browse when i'm procrastinating, erm I mean having a 'thinking' break. You're woman of impeccable taste. The Next skirt looks great – how does it fit? true to size on the waist? or is it better sized up and sitting on the hips?
I am wearing a size up here, as I prefer it hanging lower and gliding over the tummy rather than clinging! Thank you for your lovely comments x
