Frugal Purchase Alert: Study update

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman

A Frugal Purchase for our home study. I’ve been keeping my eye out for a practical yet stylish desk for a while now as some of you may know. Do you remember the desk from Dwell I wanted? Well, it went back out of the sale, just my look (grrr). So we started re-looking for a more affordable purchase… And this is what we found instead from Made.com for £169 (and when I registered they emailed me a £10 voucher). I can not wait for it to arrive, it’s going to make our study look a little more complete.

Frugal Purchase

At the moment our study is a bare room with a coat of paint (Dulux’s Muted Stone) however, when the desk arrives we will start filling it up. I’m thinking a gallery wall and affordable home furnishings. A plant is always a good option particularly for a study, there’s nothing like bringing the outdoors inside. I’ve been having a browse on Patch there’s some really exotic plants, I’m not quite sure I could pull them off in this room. But, never say never…

I’ve been scrolling through Pinterest and pinning away ideas. There are so many great decor designs out there. Watch this space for developments, I’ll keep you updated over on instagram so you don’t miss a thing!

Since I’ve written this post I’ve found tons of affordable furniture. You can read about this here and maybe make a frugal purchase yourself!
