Well, it’s as close to a crop-top as I’m going to go…if I stretch up, you can definitely see belly button.
I keep seeing crop tops in every High Street shop I step in to, and haven’t really been tempted before. But this cream lace version from H+M feels far more grown up than than all the logo mini tops out there. The lace scalloped edging means you can kind of see skin but then kind of not…which is much more my style.

The beauty of this look? Just add heels for a totally different vibe:

Also, going to mention my All Saints blazer here – as it’s probably the last place you’d think to look to buy classic tailoring. It’s expensive, and when I bought this navy blazer it was one of the priciest items in my wardrobe. However, 7 years on I’m still wearing it and it goes with EVERYTHING. Even black.

Love the outfit and just picked up the same top today!
I saw this top too and wondered if I could get away with it! Can you suggest any good shops for pencil skirts to go with things like this? I'm struggling to find any that sit on the waist on the high street which is why I haven't gone for a crop top yet! Thanks
Have you tried River Island? They have some great skirts in at the moment….or Whistles (expensive but there's a reason!) x
Thanks Alexandra, I will check both of those stores out!
