As you may be aware, I’ve been wearing glasses for a long time now, I love wearing them and wouldn’t change this part of me at all. In the October issue of Red I was asked about the make-up I wear with mine – as I must admit it is tricky.
I tend to keep eye make-up to a minimal (as I have enough going on around there), and add a splash of colour to my lips (my favourite is Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy in ‘Tokyo Coral’). Bobbi Brown, my glasses wearing total beauty guru shares her tips on Redonline here.
On 7th October, as part of Red’s Smart Women Week, we are teaming up with Bobbi Brown cosmetics to hold a make-up masterclass with top make-up artist Hannah Martin at Bobbi Brown Westfield, W12 – you can learn new make-up techniques, including the best make-up to wear with glasses (plus go home with a fab goodie bag).
Fancy it? Book your tickets here. As someone who had a Bobbi Brown artist do their wedding make-up, I can totally vouch for their expertise!
Looking for an easy, classic camel coat this season? Topshop have done great one for £58. I might need another…

Also wear glasses – so love this post! What did you do for your wedding? I'm getting married next year (totally been going back over some of your wedding posts for inspiration!!) and was thinking about what to do about glasses on the day. Or whether to try contact lenses? Thanks 🙂
beautiful your look!

I love wearing my glasses, I just don't like being shortsighted! I saw this article & have looked up the Bobbi Brown glasses, which are great btw, but they're not easy to find! 🙁 x
Funnily enough, I wore contacts on my day! Mainly because it was 31 degrees and I wanted to wear sunnies! Try wearing contacts for a few months before the wedding though, if you're not used to them x
I reckon they started small and soon we'll start seeing the glasses everywhere once they've built the brand up a bit more x
