Like it or loathe it, yellow is having a bit of a moment. It’s not for everyone, and despite wearing a couple of yellow dresses recently (probably the first bit of ‘citrus’ I’ve ever allowed in my wardrobe!), I’m still not even wholly there yet. Here is an easy guide on how to wear yellow.

So when I saw these bright yellow sandals, under £20, with a walkable heel, I didn’t hesitate. Because, these paired with classic jeans and a tee are just the kind of colour pop I love in an outfit. Most of this outfit is old (sorry!), but I love how a simple High Street purchase can bring your more basic pieces to life – kind of my philosophy.

I’ve definitely always been one for a statement heel, and it’s a great way to embrace a bit of colour into your wardrobe. And if you’ve bought a yellow dress this summer? It’s all about tonal dressing for the season ahead, so try and do head to toe.

Now the bag is the new ‘Conductors’ bag from Cambridge Satchel Company – it’s based on the old bus conductor’s bags and comes in two sizes, this is the small version and it goes so well with denim, especially when you want to keep your outfit simple.

I love that you use yellow to brighten up your look through accessories – just shows that everyone can wear it no matter what!

The shoes are perfect – and about the only way I could wear yellow! (It’s what happens when you’re strawberry blonde and pale)
I love the outfit! It’s simple yet beautiful, the sandals give the outfit the perfect touch and they look comfortable and elegant at the same time. I will definitely try to add some colour to my wardrobe using yellow accesories or shoes!
Perfect ‘pop’ for your outfit, those shoes are really amazing
I’ve been wearing yellow for years, I love it. But I’ve noticed that almost everyone around me is very wary of it so this is a nice idea. I’m tempted to get a yellow bag soon
Love this bag and simple + chic look on you so much! And I’m also really into yellow right now, but don’t think I can commit to a total outfit in the style so I’ve opted for a clutch bag, yellow nail polish, and a pair of lemon earrings from J.Crew which add just the right pop of the colour without looking like a lemon myself.

That bag is very cute! What wallet do you carry though? I have one of the big zip ones and find it doesn’t fit in most Cambridge Satchel bags! Maybe I should downsize it!
So I’m always the person with an extra ‘eco’ bag on the tube! I have to take my laptop, diary, notebooks etc in another bag anyway so I tend to carry my wallet in that too – or I have a secondary smaller wallet sometimes…bit of a faff bit I like smaller bags! They do do a bigger version of this bag actually x
You’re so cute! I can imagine you wearing them right now! xx
Yes, a yellow bag would be perfect!
Love how you styled the whole outfit, you are always very good at it! These shoes are super nice and it matches so well with all pieces that you have on. Love your earrings as well!
