I think I speak for everyone when I say that January has been the longest month. EVER.
Being paid before christmas and making my wage last 6 weeks has been near impossible, especially when all my house bills (building insurance), dentist bills (2 fillings) and solicitors fees (we’re moving my flat into both mine and my husband’s name) have all decided to make an appearance this month.

So this is my splurge…I used to have a pair of cheap Chelsea boots but after a few years, they creased so much they started to look like hobnail boots. A few work colleagues have these (or the Church’s ones) and they still look great 2 years on. Time to invest.
Knowing how much use I get out of my navy blue faux fur stole (see the post here), I feel it might be time to push my boundaries and go for a pastel version. It’ll see me right through to spring, too.

cds. This made me sad. I love playing music through my cd player and
flicking through the album covers, deciding which mood I’m in. I watched
a documentary on Pink Floyd’s follow up album to ‘The Dark Side of the
Moon’ and the problems the band faced after the previous album’s success
and the departure of Syd Barrett. This album is on my listen-to list.

I know what you mean about this being a LONG month! Love my faux fur Tippett. Am toying with getting a pink one for Spring. The only ones I have seen so far are the Helen Moore one
