Denim jacket and shirt: J Crew. Flannel trousers: Jigsaw. Trainers: Adidas |
We know tailoring is a big deal (see my A/W Trends list here), but how to wear it now? Yes, you can wear a full suit but I like to deconstruct the pieces and wear it my way. Tailoring and trainers is a big yes in my book and I always like anything that can work well with a shirt. The key to the new shirt style? Try not to roll up the sleeves, let your sleeves peek out from under your jacket for a grungey take on the look…

I love the tailoring trend, it looks great dressed down. I bought the black Asos trousers you blogged about and they are fab, perfect fit, thank you! X
I love this too, gives me the chance to wear some tailored pieces a bit more casually, that wouldn't get worn so often otherwise.
Looking sublime Alex xx
So glad – love those so much – can't believe we're bringing out the trousers already, though!
Exactly, we always wear tailoring to work and jeans on the weekend – good to mix it up!
Thank you! Typo all changed too 😉
Hi sweetie,
you look stunning
Love your jacket
