JW ANDERSON HAS LANDED AT UNIQLO!

I still think often on the green and blue puffa jacket from JW Anderson x Uniqlo I missed out on a few years ago. I won’t be missing out this year – the playful yet cosy minimalism that is JW Anderson x Uniqlo latest collection lands instore and online today (13th October). The collaboration is now in its fifth year and in my opinion, have been one of the strongest pairings on the High Street (at surprisingly reasonable prices) – but what do I think are good purchases?

For me, I don’t believe you can go wrong with fairisle knitwear – the cardigan would look just as great with corduroys as it would with sequins. I am also a fan of the stripe socks (they would make brilliant early festive gifts!). Sidenote: you can watch my video on styling a cardigan in different ways here.

I happen to have found my coat of the season (also from Uniqlo) but if I was still looking? This grey double faced one would serve well.

Other items of note are the tote bags – I like the olive but some may find the tan more useful – the perfect pairing with denim (and no one will know it’s mainly carrying a packed lunch and some unposted letters – or maybe that’s only all my bags?!). Unfortunately, these still look like they are ‘coming soon’, so keep your eyes peeled (I will too!).

There’s great menswear too, and most of it is pretty unisex – including a crew-neck fairisle jumper which is another option for the cosy season we’re approaching.

As with Marni x Uniqlo, the socks are a great buy – especially with the embroidered logo. They’d make a great gift but I logged on this morning and size 4-7 are almost sold out already – I did buy a few size 8-11 though!
