My failsafe look is a blazer, tee and jeans. So I like to mix up my footwear a bit.
I’m actually a bit tired of wearing Birkenstocks for the entire summer – it’s refreshing to slip my feet back into something more structured. There are so many new shoes styles to choose from this season, I’m really excited (hence I’ve been buying A LOT of new shoes lately – well, that’s my excuse).
These photos were taken by my husband (he has become quite creative with a lens now – he kind of has to be!) at our local indoor market Merton Abbey Mills (my grandad used to work at Board Mills factory that stood here and this was also where William Morris used to have his studio).
I used to come here a lot as a child but there aren’t as many stalls or restaurants as there used to be. There are still a few lovely independent restaurants and a good pub (‘The William Morris’) so it is definitely worth a trip if you’re in the area. We had delicious Brazilian food at Katavento and then watched a T Rex tribute band – the best bit was being able to walk home afterwards – bliss!
