For the first time in ages, I was super happy with my holiday packing list.
I had bought quite a few new items, which always make me look forward to a trip away, but I also followed some simple rules, which as I get older, are time-saving, efficient and make life a hell of a lot easier. I’ve shared a few rules, and a few new tips that made my holiday packing so much simpler (and affordable), this season – and hope it does for you, too!

I packed only black, white and denim clothing for my trip. And just one red jumper (which went with said black, white and denim clothes). That way, everything always matched and was totally interchangeable.
A few simple pops of colour, in the form of accessories, or a key sweater, will then set it off.

Well I have to say you are the queen of packing for a holiday here. All lovely wearable styles (I might pass on the bikini – those days are long behind me) but if you can work it which you can, do! I did very similar for a trip to Amsterday recently – just a couple of neutral colours and everything interchangeable. Less is more 🙂
Great tips. I am off to the USA at the end of the month so will keep these in mind as I always, always pack too much stuff and never wear half of it. Lorraine x
I am obsessed with off the shoulder tops right now – so easy to wear with almost anything and yet a little bit sexy too!
I don't know why I've never done it before really, life made simple. My wardrobe is slowly evolving to monochrome too…
Where are you off to? USA is a difficult place to pack for, as it's such a vast country – it can be sightseeing, chilly, hot or tropical! x
I know – might have bought too many, but they're all getting worn constantly!
