As much as I love a grey crew-neck jumper, I’ve been swapping it for a pink one these last few months. The perfect accompaniment to soften jeans and trainers, it also works well with metallics.
I knew I wanted to wear this silver skirt to lunch last week, and had originally paired it with an oversized grey knit. I thought they would compliment each other well but the jumper was too long and the skirt not quite long enough, so ended up in a last minute panic. As always.
But I love the lightness the pink has added to the look. I’d never had anything pink in my wardrobe until recently but now it’s turning into my go-to colour. It’s surprisingly easy to wear.
I’ve been posting on the power of pink a LOT lately, but never been practising what I preach until recently. And I think the fashion world has moved a lot from harsh monochromes to softer, paler tones. And it’s quite refreshing!
I’m gearing up for Christmas now, and we’re actually moving house next week (yes – 21st December – whose idea was that?!), so internet depending I am hoping to keep up to date with the site – but will definitely be on Instagram – so you will be able to follow our journey on Insta Stories. It’s a real ‘doer-upper’ so it should be interesting!

This is just perfect! As a busy mummy who currently lives in stretchy leggings, I need some serious new style ideas! I may (fingers crossed) be able to pull something similar together from my wardrobe, or it’s a trip to the shops. Love your style and very wearable for day to day.
