Style Challenge: Day 4

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman
Coat: Zara, Sweatshirt: Gap, Jeans: Asos, Bag: Anya Hindmarch, Trainers: Nike, Watch: Emporio Armani

Today I am wearing the ELGIN skinny jean, with just the right amount of rips (on the right side of decent, I mean). They are a skinny fit and again, hold you in similarly to the RIDLEY with the stretch denim – but less restrictive around the ankle. I’m wearing a size 8 but to be honest if I was buying them, I’d definitely go for the next size up as they are very narrow on the hip.

A grey sweatshirt makes everything better, and I wouldn’t be without mine:

I told you trainers were big news – and skinny jeans are the perfect silhouette for them (bootcut will not have the same effect) – wear them with your tailored coat for effortless cool. Invest in a classic neutral colour in a cool style (sadly, it’s not okay just to pull out some old running trainers for the cupboard  – these are a style statement).

Where did you get that combo of Nike Vortex? They're great!

Think this might be my favourite pair so far 🙂 I like the idea of yesterday's pair but not 100% sure I can pull off the shape!

Thanks so much, you know I bought these trainers ages ago just for a pair of running trainers. Now they're in fashion I've worn them so much more!!

Who would have thought trainers could look this good, the whole looks is fab. I bought that bag in the January sales in black, haven't even used it yet but I must so thanks for reminding me!

Bought these on your recommendation. Thanks. Do you know how they wash? Mine are a bit on loose side but think a smaller size would be too tight for me. Louise

They shrink up a bit…but not loads. Just put mine back on after washing and a bit snug but could still do them up!
