This post is for those of you, like me, who always wait until the last minute to buy their swimwear and then it all goes in the sale with no sizes left. But fear not, it seems retailers have caught wind that we don’t all buy our bikinis in May, and there are still some great pieces to be found.

Marysia ‘Antibes’ swimsuit: £242, Net A Porter. Scalloped swimsuit, £36, Topshop |
I featured this Topshop swimsuit on my last swimwear edit but it sold out – so I was super chuffed to find it back in stock yesterday and snapped it up (they were offering free express in-store pick-up too, so got it just in time for hols). I did, however, accidentally click on ‘Petite’ so we’ll see if it fits!

Zoe Karssen halter-neck bikini: £84.50 in the sale, Shopbop. Striped high neck bikini, £28, Topshop |
Oops, I may have just bought this striped one, too…I’ve been looking for an affordable one like this for ages – they’re really flattering for a more boyish figure like mine.

Lisa Marie Fernandez ‘Poppy’ swimsuit: £300, Matches Fashion. Striped swimsuit, £26, Marks & Spencer |
A chic one-piece is now a holiday essential – and looks great with an oversized floppy hat, Riviera style. Stripes, bows and checks finish off the Bardot detailing.
I have never bought a swimming costume before, but this summer gorgeous ones are appearing everywhere! I like the nautical MnS striped one, I will have to get one in time for my August holiday! http://www.newgirlontheblog.me
I totally agree -and I recent bought a high waisted bikini – it's quite nice knowing I don't have to watch what I eat or do any sit ups before heading t the beach! z
