The perfect camel coat…

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman
So a lot of people have mentioned they’re on the hunt for the perfect camel coat…

It’s tricky as the good ones are often rather expensive (or sold out as I found with THE perfect Topshop one). But hopefully this mini round-up of my top High Street versions should help out…

Wool coat, £275, Whistles

Wool coat, £85, Asos
Wool coat, £299, Marks + Spencer Best of British
Wool coat, £39.95, Zara (only size medium and large left)
Wool coat, £49.99, H+M

Wool coat, £175, French Connection

The styling? Keep it fresh and simple, trainers and flats look great with camel. I love the looks that keep it minimal and neutral…

I have the H&M one. I love it, it's a great budget option. I got a 25% off and free delivery code from hotukdeals.co.uk, so it cost me less than £35. Total bargain.

I got one from Zara a couple of weeks ago & I honestly don't know how I lived without it. Completely adore. And yes, goes with everything. x

Are you going to mix it up with a trainer in the coming season…?

A few weeks ago I got a gorgeous camel coat from Topshop that was only £90 (and the lovely sales assistant gave me student discount even though i'm not entitled to it anymore). I've worn it non stop for work during the week and with jeans at the weekend – loving it. Best investment in a long time! (And this blog is fantastic – thanks for all the great ideas) x

How nice of the sales assistant -that almost never happens! Topshop had the dream one but couldn't put it here as only a few left in stock – think you got one of the last ones!
