I don’t know about you, but my skin was so up and down after Christmas – I think it’s all the adjusting to different water, moving around and being generally run down after the lead up to the holidays. I’m finally adjusting to normal life and here’s what has helped my skin readjust to my routine.
Laura Mercier Flawless Skin infusion de rose moisturising cream – not only does this sell amazing, it feels velvety on my skin. I am a recent convert to Laura Mercier, after being sold my a work colleague on its fab skincare (she swears by the mineral powder) – and I’m starting to be swayed.

Bliss multi-‘face’-eted face mask |
Bliss multi-‘face’-eted Anti-Ageing Face Mask – £28 – I probably haven’t done a face mask at home since those 99p sachets in Superdrug that you peel off your face – so this is new to me. Having 5 minutes spare to do this is a luxury I am hoping to have more of being freelance and I am already noticing the difference – it minimises pores and helps reduce oily skin – my problem areas!
Elemis Pro Radiance Cream Cleanser – £29 – a more affordable Eve Lom (which I love but sometimes struggle when it’s time to renew!) – use it with a muslin cloth and your skins feels so clean and fresh. It also smells better than a spa. And relax….
I'm also using that Elemis cleanser at the moment, its quite nice but doesn't have the wow factor of Eve Lom does it? Saying that, I had an Elemis facial this morning and she used that exact cleanser first, the results are amazing so maybe I'm not doing it right!
I do love Elemis spas and facials! God, I need one…
Eve Lom is my fave, no doubt about it – but at almost half the price this will do for time being! x
Thanks for sharing….skin in need of post Christmas overhaul!
The bliss mask sounds worth a try xx
The mask is great and makes you feel so fresh afterwards – a word of warning – it leaves the muslin cloth dark grey! x
My skin is totally the same… needs a careful rethink post Christmas to get it looking its best again.
I've been using my eye cream religiously and trying out a few serums under my moisturiser (I've been into this before) – it'll take a little while to notice results but feeling a slight difference already!
Great post!!
From many years, I am using anti aging cream & lotion by Dermology and its great for my skin.I love it….
