Affordable fashion – LFW Day 1.
It’s that time of year again, London Fashion Week is upon us. A few of you have asked about affordable fashion outfits and how I prepare. Well, I do actually plan my outfits by trying them on and laying them on the bed the night before. As I have been particularly busy this last week at work, I actually planned 4 days at once so I absolutely don not have to even think about it! I’ve opted for a more casual Fashion Week, basing most of the outfits around flat shoes….
My new Fashion Week purchase…shoes
(that I loved full price), £159 from the Harrods Sale – I obviously couldn’t say no and I ALWAYS invest in a flat.

DAY 1
![]() |
Chiffon dress: H&M, Sweater: Topshop, Boots: Office, Bag: Chanel |
Yes, the bag is Chanel! It’s kind of an heirloom – I basically stopped someone from throwing it out!! Undoubtably, one designer accessory always helps to pull a High Street outfit together. I’m hoping my Carven shoes and 3.1 Phillip Lim t-shirt will come in handy this season.
My favourite show
of the day was definitely Eudon Choi – I loved his last two collections and this one was really accomplished – mixing different textures and colours. I loved the vibrant oranges that were coming through in 60s silhouettes. This season his collection is sold exclusively at Selfridges.
Sass + Bide was a hot ticket with a star studded front row – Alison Mosshart, Poppy Delevigne (whose younger sister, Cara, was walking in the show), Jasmine Guiness and Delilah all enjoying the show – with more pops of orange and some fierce sequins.
And of course
I had a little time to browse the shops in between! I found a sweater at Cos, which I bought in size Large to make it more of an oversized ‘boyfriend’ sweater.
