Last Thursday, I held my first shopping evening in my favourite Department store, Fenwick of Bond Street. 20% discount on the evening, drinks, canapes and manicures – it was such a lovely evening and I loved meeting some amazing women (who enjoy shopping as much as me!).

Getting my touch up makeup done at the Bobbi Brown concession – see Adeola, she worked miracles in 10 minutes! |
Many of you know that Fenwick is my favourite London store – it has a relaxed atmosphere and there really is something for everyone – shoppers bought from the stationery dept, kidswear right up to denim, shoes and accessories (the Le Specs sunnies went down really well). It was so much fun going through everyone’s purchases.

Thank you all for supporting me on my first store event – it meant so much to have everyone there – especially traipsing through the rain!
A big thanks also to my wonderful husband (who I know reads this), who took all these photos throughout the evening.

And afterwards? I met some friends for a well deserved glass of champagne and dinner at Bob Bob Ricard (and they showed me what they’d bought – stationery and leopard print Supergas – I approved). All in all, I’d say it was a great night.
Fabulous and I spy some of my lovely bloggy friends too. I just wished I could have got a pass out (on a school night!!) as I would have loved to come and support your' event. By all accounts it was a rip roaring success. Well done. H xx
Thanks so much – it was really lovely, and had to pinch myself it was happening! x
This looks like a great event Alex, well done! I love your jumper.
Do you remember the brand and style of the grey bag on the table in the picture above?
Thanks,
Sasha
Hi Sasha, thank you! Do you mean the grey bucket one? It is Sophie Hulme – love her bags and not (too) pricey. I bought the cross body black one which was £350, so with 20% off it was under £300 x
It was a fab event Alex and you were so welcoming and lovely in real life – exactly as I imagined you. I wish I had more time to spend there – there were some wonderful things I didn't have time to fully check out. And that jumper …. swoon!
You know what….it was on loan but they kindly gave it to me (just as I was packing it away!), so expect to see more of it!! Lovely meeting you, so chuffed with the turn out and yes, Fenwick has such good stuff x
You lucky lucky gal! I spotted it on you on Instagram. Now I am properly jealous!
