The love affair between Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin has always been one that fascinates me. Now an exclusive exhibition at Proud Gallery, Chelsea, is housing photographs of the couple taken by Jane’s brother Andrew Birkin.

There is a beautiful intimate quality to these photographs, documenting their 12 year relationship, the exhibition is free but you can also buy prints from the exhibition (from £900).

If you can’t quite afford the prints, the book is also fantastic (and highly recommended)
|In my home: Jane & Serge book, Taschen (it comes with real photographs inside) and ‘Je T’aime Jane’ perfume, Bella Freud at Harvey Nichols|
The exhibition is at Proud Galleries, Chelsea until 26th October 2014.
Whilst you’re in the area, you should definitely visit the Saatchi Gallery’s exhibition of photographs of Coco Chanel’s apartment by Sam Taylor-Johnson (see my blogpost of when I visited the apartment here).
See you there….?

Well, there are several aspects of wedding and making it perfect. Wedding invitation card is one the important aspect of making any marriage special.
Thanks for this. I was planning on heading up to Chelsea and South Ken today to check out some of the London Design Festival. Now I can take a look at this too.
