Outfit Post: Leather and Trainers

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman
Blazer: All Saints. T-shirt: James Perse. Leather skirt: £68, Oasis. Watch: Shore Projects. Trainers: Vagabond

I always tell myself I just need a capsule wardrobe of black, white and grey clothes. But then I always get distracted by trends (it’s the nature of my job, I suppose).

Whenever I wear a simple outfit such as this, I always feel so chic and good. The trainers help – they make it so easy to zip around town…Hannah from enbrogue.com wore these to Sweden recently and was banging on about them being the comfiest trainers ever. I had to try. And you know what, she might just be right!

I could only find the link to the fabric versions of the ‘Kasai’ trainer but they are fabulous.

Buy the fabric versions here for £54.99, Vagabond

I’m lucky I can wear trainers to work, but don’t save them for running or with jeans only, try with your fave leather skirt or A-Line skirt, too.

Love this outfit Alex. You can't beat a monochrome outfit for looking chic & understated can you.
I must admit I've not tried trainers yet as they just remind me of my running pair but love my slip ons teamed with an A line skirt & blazer.

Slip-ons and a-line skirts are basically my uniform at the moment wearing my New Look velvet ones as I type!

Fabulous combination! I am always a bit hesitant wearing trainers with skirts but you prove me wrong.

Personally, I'm hoping this 'wear trainers with everything' trend never ends 😉
