Coat: Zara. T-shirt, £45, The White Company. Jeans: £38, Asos. Watch: Swatch. Shoes: Dune |
I feel like I’m always on the hunt for the perfect tee – just as I get into one it all of a sudden feels a bit worn or there’s a new neckline I’d rather…so last weekend I tried a linen t-shirt from The White Company – it might just be a new favourite. The marl effect on the grey version is perfect to wear with jeans and it’s loose enough to look Emanuelle Alt without feeling slobby. Team with the perfectly distressed new ‘Brady’ boyfriend jeans from Asos and you’re done.
I teamed up with The White Company this weekend as a Guest Editor for thier blog, where I picked my key pieces for the season, it was an absolute pleasure as I would quite like a White Company life, myself…! See my edit and my weekend recommendations (including my favourite easy to make recipe)here.

Part of my frugal edit of The White Company |
Have a great weekend!
Looks nice, but I just couldn't bring myself to pay £45 for a tshirt!! I'll stick with Gap I think.
I know what you mean…it is nice and slouchy though! Cos do really nice ones for around £19 which are classic cotton ones…
Thanks, I'll have a look at the Cos ones.
Nice detailing, I love the combination of the super shiny shoes with the distressed boyfriend jeans.

I love your look, especially like the Zara coat. I was checking out your instagram pics, and went in search of the Jolene sliders by Dune but couldn't find them on their website .. are they not out yet?
They are a dead ringer for the Isabel Marant ones!!
I saw them at the high summer press day yesterday, they're not out yet but apparently they will be in a few weeks – I'll let you know as I need them in my life – they're almost exactly the same as the Marant pair!
That would be great.. thanks!!
Oh I'm totally distracted by those shoes! Stunning with your boyfriend jeans. And the linen tee is gorgeous too – it's worth paying for as you'll wear it so much over the years. Does it crease easily?
x
Funnily enough, considering it's linen, it doesn't crease much at all!
I'm with Avril, can't get by those shoes. Realised recently I don't have any silver shoes, obviously this needs sorted pronto! Love the tee- I'm a big convert to linen tee's since last year, they are that bit heavier than cotton ones so always hang better.
This is so true, I've never realised this but it makes so much sense – I always thought linen was just creasy and annoying, previously! Yes some silver flats (especially high shine) are a must this season.
