Frugal Homewares Edit

Life - By Alexandra Stedman

Now Spring is here, I’m feeling an urge to buy a few more homewares with a clean palette of blues, greys and a pineapple pop!

1. The famous chic-looking toothpaste, guaranteed to spruce up any bathroom, £21, Net A Porter
2. I’ve wanted this book for ages, not only is it full of gems, it looks cool in your kitchen, £10, Urban Outfitters

3. I’m not exactly sure what I’ll put in this pot, but this doesn’t stop me needing it, £26, Debenhams

4. I’m quite obsessed with Butler Trays at the moment, I’d love one to hold all my ‘liquor’, £134, West Elm
5. A new interiors shop I’ve discovered, definitely worth a look – I’m lusting after these copper wire baskets, from £45, Holly’s House
6. This scented candle is currently permeating through my flat, Spring in a glass jar, £16, The White Company
7. This Jonathan Adler-esque cushion will add life to my charcoal sofa, £25, Debenhams
8. Mismatched side plates is a thing. Which is good news for me as none of mine match, £3.99, H+M Home

9. The grey accents on this towel will still match with my bathroom aesthetic and a steal at £4.99, H+M Home

I have only recently discovered West Elm (yes, I know, a bit slow on the uptake), but like most great Homes stores it’s very hard to browse online (I feel the same about Zara and Ikea) – you just need to go in. So a big pre-birthday trip, I’m thinking…

About that pineapple… I know, right?! It's just the most useless, but totally covetable piece ever! I'm totally obsessed!

I'm going to ask for it for my birthday….that's the only way I can justify it as a frivolous treat!

Agreed! It's definitely one to file under so-bad-it's-good. Must have one immediately.
