SAVE THE DATE: H&M x Alexander Wang

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman

It’s nearly here…cooler than cool New York designer Alexander Wang has joined a long legacy of successful collaborations with the High Street giant, H&M. Consisting of mainly urban sportswear, the collection feels quite relevant, especially with the seemingly endless sports luxe trend constantly on our radar.

LANDING DATE: Thursday 6th November.

Not an obviously commercial collection like the Marni or Isabel Marant x H&M collections, but once deconstructed there are some fab pieces. Personally, I’m looking at the colour-block leggings for my new running regime, the sliders (just because), the classic leather backpack and the leather joggers.

1. Sweatshirt, £34.99 – it’s cropped, so try with a pair of high waisted jeans, or even a midi skirt to play with proportions.

2. Wool leggings, £34.99 – these will definitely keep you warm, try with an oversized jumper.

3. Coat, £179.99

4. Leather joggers, £179.99 – wear with a loose silk shirt and a pair of Nike Roshe trainers.

5. Sliders, £39.99

6. Crop top, £27.99 – I’m thinking more for my run, or underneath a t-shirt)

Will you be buying anything…?

So disappointed in this collection 🙁 I was expecting the coolness of Wang t-shirts, sweaters and perhaps some slouchy trousers but it is all branded leggings and calypso-style fabric tops :-O
    I won't be buying anything…

It's much more 'street' than I was expecting, but I think there a definitely a few things for me (hence I picked all the non 'branded' pieces) x

I'm disappointed too. I fancy trying the coat, but other than that I won't be getting anything else. I was actually shocked at how bad this collection is!
