Affordable jewellery

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman
Top: £29.99, Zara
Necklaces from top: Gold-plated, £15, Z for Accessorize (the turquoise part is at the back). Gold-plated ‘eye’ necklace, £21, Estella Bartlett. Gold-plated heart eyes emoji necklace, £21, Estella Bartlett.
Bracelets: Gold-plated initial bracelet, £17, Etsy. Gold-plated friendship bracelet: £15, Estella Bartlett
Rings: Gold-plated bar ring, £12, Z for Accessorize. Gold-plated zigzag ring, £15, Z for Accessorize

I am always on the hunt for affordable jewellery brands, they really are hard to find. And I prefer to go gold-plated. Now Spring is (finally) coming (am I speaking too soon?) I am thinking more about mixing up my usual Astley Clarke and Laura Lee pieces – with the need to have fun with jewellery, but I don’t want to spend a fortune.

I have only recently discovered Estella Bartlett, but her fun designs are really what I needed in my wardrobe. And the quirky eye necklace is fine enough to look far more expensive (who needs to know those aren’t real sapphires?).

Z for Accessorize is now a few seasons on, and I’m still loving the collections in store. It’s definitely my go-to for affordable pieces with a bit of a wow factor. I’d also recommend Orelia (who also have a concession in Topshop Oxford Circus) for great ear jackets, fine chains and they make lovely gifts.

Top: £29.99, Zara. Jeans: M.i.h Jeans (an old style but buy similar here). Gold-plated initial bracelet, £17, Etsy. Gold-plated friendship bracelet: £15, Estella Bartlett
Nail polish: ‘Babe Watch’, £7, Cheeky

Hi, we actually stayed in a villa with the whole photo crew (as we used it as a location to shoot as well)….and i think it was pricey as it was a commercial job. I'm not actually sure I've stayed in a hotel there, as have only been for work – sorry! x

Just stalking you through old posts! Love that you look for affordable jewellery that’s still good quality and gold-plated! Will be sending you an email as I think you might find my startup GLITZBOX interesting for refreshing your jewellery in an affordable way 🙂 Would love to discuss a collab
