We’re slowly moving away from loving everything millennial pink, but that doesn’t mean that a really good pink coat can’t get you through winter without a smile.

I’ve always been a fan of a statement coat, it can really make the rest of your wardrobe work hard. This colour means you can downplay the rest of your look – I love to pair something sugary sweet with something a bit tougher – raw hem jeans and an easy oversized stripe top works for me.
But equally, this would work over your shoulders with a more evening look over the christmas period, for something that little bit more fancy.

As part of my maternity style, a hero coat is a bit of an essential. It’s an investment that will work pre and post baby, and has way more longevity for me – something I’m keen to put into practice. Being pregnant over the winter months definitely has its advantages…..!

And the frame handle bag is still showing no sign of going anywhere…in fact, they’re probably bigger this season than before. And this one, for its size, can fit a surprising amount inside. A great alternative to a clutch for the party season, too.
