I’m not sure how it happened but it’s December. It’s here, it’s happening and we need to get presents quick.
My husband and I are still hoping to move before the new year (but might be Jan at this stage) so have made an executive decision to only buy one present per person this year, instead of getting too carried away. It has really helped keep costs low and saved us time instead of constantly looking for just ‘one more thing’. Here is my gift guide, most of what I have bought for people myself – hope you find it useful!UNDER £10

And for the wrapping? I still do my brown paper gifts but always like to add at least one extra style, and I picked up some sheets from kikki K in Bluewater last week. If you haven’t been, it’s a stationers dream (you just need to be careful not to buy everything – it all adds up!). Their campaign this Christmas is ‘Celebrate with a Grateful Heart’ which sums up this brand – all about mindfulness and giving. And with paper this good, it makes giving gifts even more fun.

The last remaining Gift Guide ideas will be coming tomorrow – from £20 – £100 gifts.
Lovely gifts but I wouldn't say that they were frugal, maybe the under £10 ones but that's it x
Hi Unknown,
I'm just showing you what's out there – I always expect people to take away from it what they can afford x
Love this edit – wondering who I can buy all the sweet children's things for!
My friend set up a shop this year called Mister Newman – fab story behind it and I think you'd like it. https://www.misternewman.com/ Major bonus: I ordered something for my husband and it came wrapped, so that's one less thing to think about!
I know -although after posting this I thought the pressies are more for me, as kids probably don't want to open clothes! Thanks for the tip on the new site – love it, very stylish – I am often so stumped with men and go to the same old shops so this is good to know (especially the wrapping!) x
I don't think kids mind unwrapping clothes, especially sparkly ones. Great list! I laughed when I saw the Life changing magic… My husband has been Kondo-ing for months and I am SO sick of it! ("Thank you for charging my phone.")
I love Marie Kondo but it's good not to beat yourself up about it, either !!
Thanks Alex, this has been really helpful. Ordered the leather wallet for my boyfriend. Looking forward to tomorrow's part 2!
Aah fab – I quite enjoyed putting the men's one together, for a change! x
Thanks for this, especially the "gifts under £10" section…. your suggestions look more expensive than £10 🙂
Yes that's my favourite section, too – hard to find chic (useful) things under £10 and I get so smug when I pull it off! xx
Lots of lovely gifts for family (and a couple for me!) Thanks for the fab guide!
xo
It's dangerous searching for gift guides – I now have a huge wishlist!
Great post 😉
