Top: £12.99, Zara. Trousers: Cos (old but buy similar from Finery here). Trainers: £50, Vans. Sunglasses: £28, Le Specs at Very Exclusive. Denim jacket: J Crew (buy similar from Mango here) |
I’m definitely one of those dressed down tomboy types, in trainers and flats most days, I love a good pair of tailored trousers but I get distracted EASILY. By frill tops, pom poms and girly fads. Put them together? For me, a match made in heaven.
There’s just something a little bit cooler for me about wearing frilly tops in a less obvious way.
I bought this top from the Zara sale, I usually steer clear of the infamous sale period at Zara but this time, I enjoyed it from the comfort of my sofa. And I couldn’t believe this top was £12.99 – I nabbed it immediately, I’m excited to wear it on holiday with my Boden white skirt.
And the trainers? I told you I was after some black ones…and I made the right choice. I’ve been seeing them more and more on Social media (namely, Andy C Singer’s divine instagram feed), and knew they needed to be mine. I love the idea of wearing these with summer dresses as much as with jeans and a tee.

Looks good Hun, nice style'
I wish I could get away with wearing a cute top like that, but tisk tisk..it wouldn't work for me. But those shoes, I can definitely get away with. Going to check those out now.
My new faves! I love the skater boy look / and they look great with dresses as well as trousers x
Love this look and it looks great on you! I'd love to see a Henry London watch teamed with this look, perhaps something from the Holborn Collection… http://www.henry-london.com/shop
