How to wear pink

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman
Cashmere jumper, £138, Iris & Ink at The Outnet. Culottes: £20, Asos. Bag: Zara. Trainers: £65, Adidas Gazelle

I’m not really a pink person, but you can’t deny that it’s a huge trend – everything about the hue just seems right (see my last ode to pink on the blog here). I love the soft, dusty version of this cashmere jumper – it’s the finest loom, and is a great layering piece – under blazers and great for this weather.

Jumper: Iris and Ink. Jeans: MiH ‘Phoebe’. Bag: BHS
Worn under my old New Look blazer
Textured knit, £125, Whistles

I love the culottes but when it click the link they translate to €42. The trauma of living in Ireland.

A £138 jumper in a blog about frugality. Is it meant to be ironic?

I think it's an investment! The jumper would last for years and save on heating bills. Cashmere is the only thing to wear in cold weather, packs small for travel, looks elegant and feels great.

Totally! Affordability is subjective…and if you follow my facebook and my twitter page, I have also mentioned Uniqlo's cashmere sweater for £59.90 – so hopefully there is something for everyone!
