3 High Street collabs that just work…

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban. Earrings: H Samuel. Jacket: House of Dagmar (sold out but buy similar here). T-shirt: Gudrun Sjoden (buy similar here). Jeans: Asos. Trainers: Vans x & Other Stories

1. VANS x & OTHER STORIES

Leather slip-on trainers, £75, Vans x & Other Stories

I love these trainers! Where fashion and comfort collide…I adore the mix of spots and stripes, a combination I’ve been a fan of for a while.

2. LK BENNETT x LAURA BAILEY

Leather sandals: £195, LK Bennett
Wearing sunglasses: Happy Glasses (super affordable and cool designs). Shirt: J Crew (buy similar here). Skirt: H&M. Bag: Zara. Sandals: LK Bennett by Laura Bailey.

When LK Bennett announced they were turning to Laura Bailey to collaborate on their next collection, I sort of knew we were in safe hands. Effortlessly stylish, Laura turned to the Amalfi coast for inspiration with juicy colours and nautical stripes. And isn’t the packaging just wonderful?

3. OASIS x KEDS

Leopard and stripes? You don’t have to ask me twice. I’ve never actually owned Keds, but have been converted – these are the comfiest slip-on trainers I have had pleasure to walk in, from day one.

Slip-on trainers, £45, Oasis x Keds

Lace up trainers, £45, Keds x Oasis

…And, as I was writing this, some other collaborations caught my eye:

Marios Schwab x Fiorelli – the praised London Fashion Week designer has designed a capsule collection for the High Street bag giant. Expect tactile fabrics, on point colours and strong shapes from totes to cross-body bags. You’ll have to wait, though, they’ll be out in September.

Coming soon to Fiorelli

Rob Ryan x F Troupe – super creative artist, Rob Ryan (and a favourite of mine) has teamed up with gorgeous footwear brand F Troupe, customising F Troupe classic bathing shoes with romantic ‘Love’ and ‘Peace’ cut-outs. Very Parisian, non?

Bathing shoes, £30, F Troupe x Rob Ryan

!function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? ‘http’ : ‘https’;if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s);e.id = id;e.src = p + ‘://’ + ‘widgets.rewardstyle.com’ + ‘/js/shopthepost.js’;d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof window.__stp === ‘object’) if(d.readyState === ‘complete’) {window.__stp.init();}}(document, ‘script’, ‘shopthepost-script’);

I was eyeing up the spotty stripy Vans last night but I'm not sure I can justify another pair of skate pumps … I have so many other shoes which need to be worn and it would appear that I am getting sensible in my old age. Gah!

I know…my shoes wardrobe is 5 times as big as any other part of my wardrobe – need to sell a few more pairs!

Thanks you – Oasis are doing so well with their collaborations of late, I went to the V&A to see their new print collaboration last night and it was beautiful (not to mention the Oasis x V&A notebooks – divine!) x
