Frugal Wedding Shopping is commencing..
1) J Crew.
Of course, I love J Crew…but it still surprises me how few people know about their Bridal section. They have a really reasonable flat-rate shipping to the UK and dresses costs roughly £600 upwards. I’m most probably going to get my bridesmaid dresses from here. I wore a J Crew dress to my sister’s wedding (it was cream – but if Pippa Middleton can do it, so can I!)

2) The Outnet.
So it’s a risk, but if you’ve got time there are some fabulous gems on here – my sister bought THE most beautiful Marchesa dress from here to wear to a wedding once – it’s great for brides and for guests!

3) Monsoon.
Looking for something chic, between £250-£400, Monsoon has a surprisingly decent selection of frugal wedding dresses, I especially love the Kora embellished dress. Monsoon is obviously great if you’re having little Flower girls, too!

Loving all your dress recommendations. Never knew about JCrew! Oh you have me wishing for a lovely wedding to go to now… 🙂 Ax
J Crew dresses are gorgeous – really good quality, too. And you obviously don't have to wait for a wedding to go to! 😉
If you like charity shops and don't mind second-hand/vintage (and you are willing to travel!), St. Barnabas in Lincoln has a vintage wedding dress thingy tomorrow. They are one of the best charity shops I've found in a while-I found an Hermes scarf there! Also there were some amazing Mikhael Aghal ones on sale the other day for less than £50 on cocosa! Ann x

I always forget cocosa! It's such a good site….and yes, second-hand is definitely a good idea!
Love your suggestions. I'm getting married in June & our daughters are bridesmaids/ flower girls. For little ones we have chosen really delicate liberty print & a friend is making very simple dresses. I think less is more for the little ones & too much shine etc overwhelmes them.
I found vintage cream Joseph knee length dress in Bath. Kurt Geiger shoes & Minna is making a unique coverup & vintage style flowers for all of us.Really lovely visiting her workshop. But it is amazing even with 'bargain' dress it certainly adds up….
Need suggestions for some flattish shoes as I'm not sure I can wear heels all day & night.
