New Year: New Home

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman

My Pinterest/Instagram interiors stalking has hit an all time high lately, as I’m finally allowed to spend our re-mortgage money on some furniture for the loft. We probably won’t have enough money to furnish the whole of upstairs at once (we still haven’t replaced the carpet in the rest of the flat, yet!) but we’ll definitely be able to get the bare bones in place.

My obsession with marble, like copper at the moment, knows no bounds, and I’ll be looking for a side table similar to a friend of mine – she got this ultra chic one from Bloomingville (and I’ve seen some more affordable ones at West Elm).

We’ll invest in a good bed, table and hopefully a sofa (if we can fit one up there!). For everything else, there’s H&M Home….

THE FRUGAL EDIT (Interiors bits I’m lusting after right now):

1. Ceramic mug, £3.99, H&M

2. Print, £24, Oliver Bonas

3. Copper wire recipe stand, £22, Oliver Bonas

4. Velvet cushion cover, £6.99, H&M

5. Gold magazine rack, £60, Urban Outfitters

6. Large wire basket, £12.99, H&M

7. Bath mat, reduced to £10.50, The White Company

8. Copper mirror, £12.99, H&M

9. Wall hooks, £6.99, H&M

H&M home is amazing, I'm spending more time on there than the clothes section recently. Also loving a bit of copper too, bloomingville stuff is often on Achica so I've snapped up a few bits too. Hope you show us some pics of the finished room.
