Outfit post: Levi’s & Camo

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman
Jacket: Old Navy (buy similar here). T-shirt: £12, Cos. Cashmere jumper (round waist): £99, Boden. Jeans: Levi’s. Backpack: £36, Topshop. Shoes: Birkenstock.

I found this jacket at the back of my wardrobe – it was a bargain from Old Navy in LA last year, and perfect for this in between weather.

Demi Curve Revel jeans in ‘sundried’ wash, £105, Levi’s

I’m obsessed with jeans at the moment, and working my way through a few brands to find the ultimate pair. I never think of Levi’s when it comes to ‘shapewear’ denim, but these ‘Revels’ are fab, with liquid shaping technology which really holds you in the right places. I have even started to notice quite a few models I’ve been working with have been wearing these, too. I love the 70s worn-look wash on these.
I have been told by the Levi’s staff that the key to a good pair of jeans is not to wash them (or at least not very often) – so may give this a go!

Classic tee and denim: Perfect combo. Cos does the BEST classic cotton tees and they’re really affordable.
Cotton tee: £12, Cos
My ultimate denim staple: Navy cashmere crew neck, £89.10, Boden

So I’m a bit of a Levi’s convert. There is an amazing pair of patchwork denim coming through their A/W collection which I can’t wait to get my hands on…watch this space.

I refused to hand over big bucks for a new dress and I found this dress on Internet. It is absolutely perfect and it's a great dress that's worth triple the price.

I read that you shouldn't wash new jeans for 6 months so that they perfectly mould to your body (you can put them in the freezer to 'clean' them and air them outside as well). Then when you wash them after that, they're the perfect fit just for you!

I'm a Levi's fan too, love their high waisted skinnies, really nice thick denim. Which brings me to my question, I love your asos Riley black skinnies and I was wondering if the denim is as thick as the Levi's? (I'm in NZ and to send stuff back to asos is a nightmare!) thanks. C

I'm going to be honest, they're not the same. I have the Brady jeans from Asos, which are good thick denim but the black Riley ones are a bit cotton-y – nice but don't want you to have a wasted delivery if they're not what you're after! x
