Lately, I’ve been opting for a more monochromatic wardrobe (I count navy in this) – it’s easy, chic and effortless, especially for the weekend. But every now and then, you need some accessories to make these classic pieces ‘sing’. And for me, there is nothing better than a fierce metallic accessory.
This season it’s the high shine silver shoe that’s stealing the show – and guess what? It looks perfect with navy, black and white. Dune asked me to style up two looks to showcase their best Mirror Metallics – and I fell in love with these flatform brogues immediately. They’re just my style – chunky, boyish with just a hint of bling, perfect for stomping the streets of East London.
This weekend we were at a photography course at The London Institute of Photography, so we used it as an opportunity to shoot in the nearby neighbourhoods and a chance to put into practise what we learnt on the course. It was a 2 day weekend course and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn’t feel they are using their camera to its utmost potential, or just wants to find out more about aperture, slow/high shutter speeds and generally the meanings behind all the numbers and jargon.
Plus: my camera matched my shoes.

And for the evening, if you know anything about me by now I don’t do ‘dressy’. But these mirrored ‘Jester’ heels are a great height – even I managed to last in them all evening for our sushi date. Worn with my favourite (but really old) jumpsuit and a neckerchief (I’ve not been brave enough to do it until recently!) they give an added ‘newness’ to an otherwise tired outfit combination.

Oh I love the navy and silver pairing especially the jumpsuit and heels. There's something very clean about the whole look. And I have looked and looked for a navy petite jumpsuit like yours for so long now – I wish Topshop had put one out in the petite range at the time. Big sigh.
That's the only problem with jumpsuits – we don't all have the same torso size! Yes I love navy and silver – bit boring but maybe I'm just getting older – my entire wardrobe is currently lacking colour – hoping it will change now summer seems to be here! x
I just love your shoes collection. You should carry silver clutch bag with the silver shoes.
