Easy does it…

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman
Cardigan: €219, Custommade. T-shirt: £20, J Crew. Dungarees: £39.99, H&M. Bag: £175, Iris & Ink at The Outnet. Trainers: £39.99, Rocketdog. ‘Kula’ bracelets: from £70, Astley Clarke. Photographs: Eva K Salvi
Apologies that most of my outfit posts these days have been called ‘easy dressing’, my ‘go to basics’ and ‘loungewear’. Perhaps that’s just the mood of my current dressing state – and dungarees really are a no brainer failsafe outfit for me, at the moment.
It’s still a bit chilly out and we’re not quite set on storing the cardies (or even the coats!) away just yet…but I’m hell bent on keeping my ankles out until winter.
In terms of cardigans, I’ve been wearing them more and more as a light jacket alternative, I love the slouchiness of this one and have worn it out in the evening with a cold shoulder top and just shrugged it off my shoulders for a bit more flesh. The granny cardigan is definitely not granny anymore.
Lightning bolt earring: £35, Astley Clarke
And don’t forget, my Astley Clarke discount code runs out today (3rd May) – FRUGALITY15 on all of the Biography collection, they make great gifts (Bridesmaids, birthdays, to yourself….). So while my tan may be fading, my jewellery is still outshining everything else, but I’m happy with that…

The dungarees look great! I've wanted some for ages and just bought an amazing black pair from Whistles (oops) but was worried that they make me look like a CBeebies presenter… IThis post has given me some styling ideas and has persuaded me to not to return them! x

I am so glad for dungarees in my wardobe -honestly, they solve so many outfit dilemmas – yes shirts look good under them too to stop looking so young – I have a rainbow stripe top at home, so I just stay clear of that! x

Alex I just bought a pair of Alexa Chung dungarees which were massively reduced on Matches website. I received them today and they are so fabulous on. I know you posted a link of them on your blog sometime back so thought I would let you know.
