Gap Styld By {Part 2}

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman
Jumper: £59.95, Gap. Dress: £79, Monsoon (sold out). Pom pom heels: £36, Next. Camera: Olympus E-PL7. Photographs by Eva K Salvi
Here are the final images from my Gap ‘Styld By’ project (mainly because I’m currently stuck in blog scheduling/present wrapping/Christmas party/India preparing madness). These last pics include possibly my fave items – this jumper is the perfect softness (despite moulting slightly!) and a great compromise between a chic jumper and a festive knit.

Also, the ‘Tessa’ dress from monsoon is back in stock in all sizes – the long sleeves and lace trim make it look far more expensive than it is and is a great partywear pieces, as well as a holiday dress (my mum thought it was Dolce!).

‘Tessa’ dress, £79, Monsoon

This is how I would dress for Christmas day, cosy and warm yet a little nod to dressing up. I have these shoes from Next in both flat and heels, and they are surprisingly comfortable. Fashion at its most fun.

And then the boilersuit. I wasn’t sure on the hanger, and assumed I would have to wear a poloneck underneath it as I usually hate v-necks. But the cut is so flattering it didn’t need any ‘joojing’ up! It’s lightweight black denim, more like cotton and a dressier cousin of the button front boilersuit. Something different for Gap and would look great for all those parties coming up if, like me, you’re not one for too much sparkle.

Denim jumpsuit: £54.95, Gap. Clutch: Gap (sold out). Shoes: Topshop Unique (old)
Nails: Rococo Nails. Lipstick: ‘Atomic Orange’ by Bobbi Brown. Blazer: Gap (sold out)

    I'm in love with that black dress, the lace details make it look so romantic and festive! It's not expensive at all as one would think (it looks lake an expensive one). Great job combining it with that chunky knit and the shoes. Love this outfit!The fishbone pattern Gap blazer is a lovely piece, to:

    Hi Alexander, the dress looks lovely. How tall are you? I am small framed and 5 ft 4 and think it may swamp me?

      Hey – I'm 5ft 6….but weirdly it's not too bad even with flat shoes on me, so it is worth trying xx also have you seen the dress on my partywear post (in the sidebar), that has a similar vobe but short (and to be honest, a little short for me!), so might be worth checking out too x
