Go West

There’s just something special about West London, isn’t there…? Much chicer than my South London hood, a Sunday spent wondering the streets of Golborne Road and Portobello are never wasted. So we decided to go further afield for our weekend brunch spot, and made the most of the sunny spells we’ve been having.
Wearing my new H&M cashmere jumper, NO COAT, and fray step Mother jeans – I love the easy combo of cashmere and jeans, one I rely on all too much but if it works….

We ventured to West Thirty Six near Westbourne Park – we’d heard great things about their weekend roast and bottomless Bloody Marys for £15? I didn’t need convincing…

I have been getting over the flu for the last week or so and it’s a slow mover, so thought some cold, hard alcohol would help shift it. Two days later, I was right as rain.

Walking off the lunch, we wandered down Potobello Road, where I hadn’t been for too long, especially after spending so many of my early working years working in the area (my first job was at Matches, Ledbury Road). Even the flowers stalls were more luscious – I bought some overpriced eucalyptus but it lasts so long and fills so many of my little vases at home.

In terms of colour, pink is definitely having a moment, and I pounced on this 100% cashmere knit for under £50. It makes a change from the usual grey and adds a hint of spring to a classic outfit.

Love this outfit, makes me wish I was wearing exactly that right now.

What size did you order in the Jumper? i like how it's loose enough but not baggy on you.
