The luxe joggers

Fashion - By Alexandra Stedman
Coat: £69, Marks & Spencer. Bag: £19, Accessorize (straps bought separately). Silk blouse: £185, Me & Em.  Stripe joggers: £140, Etre Cecile. Trainers: TU clothing (coming soon). Photos: Briony Whitehouse and myself
There’s nothing I like more than catching up with fellow bloggers, and even more so when they’re as lovely as Briony from A Girl, A Style. After a lot of diary juggling, we finally managed to get a date in and spent a wonderful afternoon in her hometown of Cambridge.
Briony has been a sort of mentor to me and my blog, and it’s so nice to have a like-minded friend in the industry. We walked along the river, had brunch at Fitzbillies and didn’t really discuss work. Bliss! And I promise I didn’t make her take pictures, it’s just something we kind of do naturally now, and that’s what friends are for, right?!

I wore what is currently my typical off-duty look. It’s all about the luxe joggers at the moment, and they are such a great alternative to jeans, I’ve been wearing them a lot for travel as well as on shoots and the side stripe is great for a pop of colour. These are Etre Cecile and I love the slight sheen to the fabric, but equally Me & Em have really good (more tailored) versions, as do almightly Zara.

Bag: £19, Accessorize (straps bought separately).
And this Accessorize bag has been a firm fixture on my arm since I got it – I can’t believe it’s not more expensive – and it actually fits far more than expected. I love red amongst a monochrome look, and they have a fab leopard version too (which my sister has).
